Rachel Varughese is a senior litigation attorney with more than two decades of courtroom experience handling high-stakes personal injury and premises liability cases. She prepares every case with trial in mind and has taken cases from inception through verdict, including complex discovery, expert development, and trial presentation.
Rachel began her career defending medical malpractice, products liability, and personal injury cases, giving her deep insight into how defendants and insurers evaluate, defend, and try cases. She now uses that knowledge to aggressively prosecute claims. A licensed registered nurse, Rachel brings a rare level of medical sophistication to injury cases and is also a trained mediator and arbitrator with experience serving as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem, where she advocated for vulnerable individuals and developed a reputation for clear judgment, careful listening, and principled decision-making.
Rachel earned her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University, at the Texas Medical Center in Houston. She is a member of the Texas Bar College, an honor reserved for attorneys who demonstrate a sustained commitment to excellence in legal education maintains active involvement in professional and community organizations dedicated to advocating for and protecting vulnerable individuals.
